يعتبر جاك أرسين دارسونفال ( بالانجليزية : Jacques-Arsène d’Arsonval ) ( 1851 – 1940 م ) عالم بيولوجي وفيزيائي ومكتشف فرنسي ، ولد في مدينة لابوري ، أستاذ كلودبرنار.

علَّم في المعهد الفرنسي ، عُين عضوا ً في أكاديمية العلوم وأكاديمية الطب.

– وضع أسس قياس الحرارة الحيوانية.

– اخترع الأوعية المزدوجة الجدار التي تحفظ الهواء سائلا ً.

– أكمل تعميم الهاتف مع زميله ب. برت.

– أدخل طريقة استخدام الأشعة في الطب.

– قام باختراعات عديدة في المجال الطبي والبيولوجي.
